The Art Institute of Chicago is my favorite place to visit in Chicago. Gosh, I must have have been there at least fifty times. The building itself is well organized, clean, and attractive. Built in the tradition of Greek architecture, it also encompasses modernly decorated chambers, and a beautiful inner court complete with a summer garden, fountain pool, and jazz band.

The paintings and artifacts housed here are of all genres. My favorites are the ones of the Renaissance and Neo-Classical periods - both paintings and sculptures. The miniature room area has no like in all the worlds museums. If you are in the neighborhood, be SURE to drop by. Just say Ahmedelo di Rehavelli sent you!
