Heliopolis

The Art Institute of Chicago is my favorite place to visit in Chicago. Gosh, I must have have been there at least fifty times. The building itself is well organized, clean, and attractive. Built in the tradition of Greek architecture, it also encompasses modernly decorated chambers, and a beautiful inner court complete with a summer garden, fountain pool, and jazz band.

The paintings and artifacts housed here are of all genres. My favorites are the ones of the Renaissance and Neo-Classical periods - both paintings and sculptures.
